Parker-</B></FONT><B> </B><I>Game Inventor</I></div> <div> <B>At the age of 23, I rededicated my life to Christ. I had just finished earning my </B><I>Bachelors Degree</I><B> from CSU, Sacramento in </B><I>Theatre Arts</I><B> and I had moved to Los Angeles. One night, while sleeping, the following words were before my closed eyelids and were being spoken to me; “</B><I>“For what shall it profit a man, if he should gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?””</I><B>- </B><B>Mark 8: 36.</B><B> Unable to sleep, I sat on the edge of my bed and I began to have a conversation with God. </B></div> <div> <B>It soon turned into a debate as I tried to convince God that things in my life were okay and that I wasn’’t ready to be saved. God simply replied, “</B><I>“Son, I have so much that I want to do in your life. Why don’’t you give me a chance.””</I><B> Ultimately, God won my heart and, so, that night, </B><I>August 23rd, 1983</I><B>, sitting on the edge of my bed, I gave my life to Christ. It’’s a decision that I have never regretted. </B></div> <div> <B>“</B><I><B>“</B></I><I><B><U>Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.””- </U></B></I><B><U>Romans 12:2</U></B><I><B><U> </U></B></I></div> <div> <B>Shortly, after giving my life to Christ, I returned to Sacramento and accepted </B><B>Dr. Phillip G. Goudeaux</B><B> as my </B><I>Pastor/Teacher</I><B> and because of the rich and effective teaching of the word of God, my life has been transformed and is one continuous testimony for God. God set before me- “</B><I>“Life and Good, and Death and Evil””</I><B>- </B><B>Deuteronomy 30: 15</B><B>- and I chose life and good. One Sunday, Pastor Goudeaux began a series on finances and God’’s promises regarding giving. As a baby Christian, like Solomon, I just wanted to do what was right, so, chief among my petitions to God was the request for </B><I>wisdom</I><B>, </B><I>knowledge</I><B> and </B><I>understanding</I><B>.- </B><B>II Chronicles: 1; 10</B><B>. To which God gave generously.</B></div> <div> <B><U>STE</U></B><I><B><U>WA</U></B></I><B><U>RD </U></B><I><B><U>(Hebrew)</U></B></I><B><U>- </U></B><I><B><U>A son (As in builder of the family name.)</U></B></I><B><U> </U></B><I><B><U>(Greek)</U></B></I><B><U>- </U></B><I><B><U>Manager, overseer, governor </U></B></I></div> <div> <B>Interestingly, one of the first things God began to minister to me about was man’’s lack of understanding about his role as a </B><B>STEWARD</B><B> over all of his creation. Yes, </B><B>STEWARDSHIP </B><B>is man’’s </B><I>first</I><B> responsibility</B><B>.</B><B> Apostle Paul says, that we are “</B><I>“Stewards of the mysteries of God.””</I><B> -</B><B>I Corinthians 4: 1-2.</B><B> What an honor it is to have been trusted with God’’s wealth; </B><I>every herb bearing seed... every tree... every beast... fowl of the air.</I><B>.. we, the sons of God, are the builders of the family name. </B></div> <div> <B>We are the managers, overseers and governors of all Gods wealth. It is only when Men & Women of God gain a more profound understanding of their responsibility as </B><B>Stewards</B><B> and as children of the most high that we will be able to, universally, break the many yokes of bondage that the enemy has on our lives, ascend to our place of prominence in the world and inherit the abundant wealth that God has intended for us. It seems that we have given our inheritance to the wicked when it should be the reverse. </B><B>Proverbs 13; 22,</B><B> ...”</B><I>”The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.””</I><B> </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>“</B><I><B><U>“Give me now wisdom and knowledge...””</U></B></I><B><U> -IIChronicles 1: 10 </U></B></div> <div> <B>It was through my acquisition of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, which God gave richly, that I was able to receive an abundant out-pouring of talent and ability to create tangible gifts that, now, minister to men and women around the world. </B><I>For it is he (God) that giveth thee power to get wealth.</I><B>- </B><B>Deuteronomy 8:18</B><B>. God’’s first gift to me was a Family board game called </B><B>GOOD STE</B><I><B>WA</B></I><B>RD</B><B>. The game brings people together in fellowship and teaches the principles of financial Stewardship. </B></div> <div> <B>I have been the subject of a feature story on the </B><B>700 Club</B><B>, and many Secular and Christian television programs. I have conducted live interviews with stations as far away as </B><I>Canada</I><B> and have shipped games to families in </B><I>West Germany</I><B>. Until recently, the game retailed in the national chain of </B><B>Berean Christain Stores</B><B>, </B><B>Foothill Christian Stores</B><B>, </B><B>Bible House</B><B>, </B><B>Western Christian Bookstores</B><B>, </B><B>Raley’’s Superstores</B><B>, </B><B>Longs Drugs</B><B> and many local church bookstores such as </B><B>Capital Christian Center</B><B> and </B><B>Calvary Christian Center</B><B> for </B><B>$29.99</B><B>. Today, the game is available primarily , on the </B><I>World Wide Web/Internet</I><B> or sold directly to local </B><I>Churches, Group homes, Community centers, Christian schools, Youth groups</I><B>, and </B><I>individuals</I><B> for home fellowship. </B></div> <div> <B>“</B><I><B><U>“...If I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.””-</U></B></I><B><U> Malachi 3:10</U></B></div> <div> <B>But hold on.... the testimony continues! In 1988, I formed </B><B>GOOD STE</B><I><B>WA</B></I><B>RD GAME COMPANY</B><B> and three years later, at the tender age of 31, I retired from State service and began working for myself full-time. Additionally, God continued to blessed the works of my hands in the area of Theatre. I became the </B><I><B>Director</B></I><I> </I><B>of the </B><I>Theatre Arts Ministry</I><B> at </B><B>Calvary Christian Center.</B><B> When God called me to take my work to the people of the community, I resigned from Calvary and formed another Division of my company and entitled it; </B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFF80" FACE="Staccato222 BT" ><B>Parker</B></FONT><B>’</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFF80" FACE="Staccato222 BT" ><B>’s Place</B></FONT><B>. I have written and own more than </B><B>12</B><B> plays- </B><B>8 </B><B>short plays for teens and Young Adults and 4 full-length plays for adults. On </B><B>May 27th, 2004</B><B>, I opened my first </B><I>Off-Broadway Show in New York City</I><B>. We gave more than 100 performances and finally closed on September 12th, 2004. That is the ministry gift that God has given me. The Vision Statement for </B><B>GOOD STE</B><I><B>WA</B></I><B>RD GAME COMPANY</B><B> is; “</B><I>“Reaching The World.... Through Creations that teach.””</I><B> My work has taken me across the country and back. I know that “</B><I>“Death and life are in the power of the tongue””</I><B>- </B><B>Proverbs 18: 21.</B><B> I’’d like very much to share the game and teach a </B><I>class / workshop</I><B> entitled; “</B><B>“Stewardship....</B><I><B> and when he returned.””</B></I><B> </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>There are Millionaires waiting to be born in your ministry, inventions yet to be realized, businesses lurking just beneath the surface of doubt and disbelief. How can I share God’’s gifts and words of wisdom with you? “</B><I>“I wisdom dwell with prudence and find out knowledge of witty inventions.””</I><B>- </B><B>Proverbs 8:12.</B><B> God is waiting to give birth to many dreams and ideas but there can be no harvest until the seeds are planted.</B></div> <div> <B>Not only has God given me great oratorical skills but he has given me a unique talent for making the intangible... tangible. It seems that once God gives me the insight or unlocks the mystery, he will give me the ability to translate that idea into a thing that can be seen and touched. And that is how I began inventing games and writing plays. </B></div> <div> <B>GOOD STE</B><I><B>WA</B></I><B>RD</B><B> is more than a game.
